[Fi] Life Framework Privacy Policy

[Fi] Life Framework, LLC and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively “Life Framework”) take the protection of privacy seriously and maintain a privacy policy to make sure your personal information is secure. This Privacy Policy details important information regarding the use and disclosure of user information collected by Life Framework. Capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning assigned to them in the Terms of Use. Only employees of Life Framework communicate and view data and we strictly enforce privacy safeguards within the company. We value your privacy and will take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. We do not share or distribute your personal information (including email address), but it may be accessible to the staff who administer the site and infrastructure or by an authorized user you’ve assigned to your account. We may be required to share stored personal information by law. We may use your email address from time to time and other personal contact information to communicate with you about our services or provide product updates.

Data Ownership

The most important part of this Privacy Policy is the simple principle that your data belongs to you. You are not transferring the ownership of data about you by storing it in the [Fi] Life Framework platform or with Life Framework. The data that you store in [Fi] Life Framework belongs to you.

We utilize the data in your individual [Fi] Life Framework account to assist you with support requests, troubleshoot problems, or monitor the performance and effectiveness of the Services. In addition, we utilize data across the entire [Fi] Life Framework platform to improve its effectiveness, develop insights, or monitor the performance and effectiveness of the system.

Use of the Services

The [Fi] Life Framework platform allows financial advisors to assist their clients in relation to the provision of financial advisory services. The information added to the Services, either by client users providing their contact information or when a financial advisor user adds information, is stored and managed on our servers. This information is then used by financial advisor users to counsel client users. We may provide your personal information to financial advisor users that you designate in the provision of Services.

Life Framework does not control the use of data of client users provided to financial advisor users so designated and Life Framework is not responsible for use of that information by such financial advisor users. That information belongs to them and is used, disclosed, and protected by them according to their privacy policies and is not subject to this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect and How We Use It

We may collect the following types of information:

Information you provide to us, including when you establish a [Fi] Life Framework account. We use the data you enter to provide the Services to you, and develop personalization to make things more relevant. Such information is also used by your financial advisors to counsel you. We also analyze all our customer data in aggregate to understand more about the average [Fi] Life Framework user.

Contact Information. You may be asked for your email address or other personal contact information, which we will never share or sell with third parties.

When you visit [Fi] Life Framework, we send one or more cookies to your computer or other device. We use cookies to improve the quality of our services, store user preferences, track user trends, track logins, sessions, and collect anonymous traffic data.

When you access the services, our servers automatically record certain information in an industry-standard way. These logs may include information such as your web request, your interaction with a service, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser or your account. IP addresses, URLs visited, and related information is recorded for all site visitors for the purpose of site traffic analytics and captured as part of normal operation in our server logs. Any messages email or communications that you send to Life Framework may be retained so that we can process your inquiries, respond to your requests or improve the quality of our services. We use a 3rd-party service called Google Analytics, who provides their own privacy policies and cookie opt-out.

When you establish a [Fi] Life Framework account, we ask you for personal information, which may include your name, email address, and date of birth. We use the data you enter to provide the Services to you and develop personalization of the Services.

You may receive regular emails with helpful hints and suggestions. You will also receive update reminders. You have the right to opt out, just let us know via email or written correspondence.

The Services are not intended for or targeted at children 18 and under, and we do not knowingly or intentionally collect information about children 18 and under. Life Framework processes personal information on our servers in the United States of America and in other countries. In some cases, we process personal information outside your own country.

External Websites

This Privacy Policy applies to the Services provided by Life Framework only. The [Fi] Life Framework platform provides links to other, external websites. We do not have any control over any such external websites that are linked on the [Fi] Life Framework platform, websites offered by our partners, or sites that integrate Life Framework Services. Those sites are governed by their own privacy policies, which you should read before using them.

Information Sharing

Life Framework only shares personal information with other companies or individuals outside of our company in the following limited circumstances:

  • If we have your consent, which we require opt-in consent for the sharing of any confidential personal information.
  • We have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce the applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Life Framework, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.
  • If Life Framework is ordered by a legal process or government to provide data about one or more individual users, we will notify those users of our compliance with that order, to the extent permitted by law.
  • If Life Framework becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all its assets, we will ensure the confidentiality of any personal information involved in such transactions and provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Information Security

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. Deleting Your Information

We believe that your data belongs to you, and therefore, you may delete your account at any time that you choose. To request that your account be deleted, please contact us at josh@filifeadvisor.com. Because of the way we maintain the Services to protect the integrity of your data, residual copies may take a period of time before they are deleted, and your data may remain in our backup systems. However, our systems are architected so that your data will drop out of active use for all of the uses that we described above.

We do not delete your account unless you direct the deletion of that account. Of course, you are in control of the data that is entered in your account. You can request deletion of this information at any time. When you delete an account, the information will be deleted from our servers and backup servers.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Please note that Life Framework reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. When a change to the policy has been updated, a notice will be posted on our website along with the updated privacy policy. When you visit this website, you are accepting the current version of the privacy policy as posted on the site at that time. Capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning assigned to them in the Terms of Service.

Many of our users have entrusted Life Framework with their most private data, and we make it a priority to take our users' security and privacy concerns seriously. We strive to ensure that user data is kept securely, and that we collect only as much personal data as is required to provide the Services to users in an efficient and effective manner.

Life Framework uses some of the most advanced technology for Internet security that is commercially available today. This Security Policy is aimed at being transparent about our security infrastructure and practices, to help reassure you that your data is appropriately protected. Application and User Security

SSL/TLS Encryption: Users can be confident in knowing that Life Framework collects personal information over secured, encrypted SSL/TLS connections. All user input with https://www.filifeframework.com/ website are sent over SSL/TLS connections. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology (the successor technology to SSL) protect communications by using both server authentication and data encryption. This ensures that user data in transit is safe, secure, and available only to intended recipients.

User Authentication: User data on our database is logically segregated by account-based access rules. User accounts have unique usernames and passwords that must be entered each time a user logs on. [Fi] Life Framework issues a session cookie only to record encrypted authentication information for the duration of a specific session. The session cookie does not include the password of the user.

User Passwords: [Fi] Life Framework suggests user application passwords have minimum complexity. Make it at least 6 characters, add lowercase letters, add uppercase letters, add numbers, add punctuation, etc.

Privacy: We have a comprehensive privacy policy that provides a very transparent view of how we handle your data, including how we use your data, who we share it with, and how long we retain it.

Physical Security

Data Centers: We maintain the best possible administrative, technical and physical safeguards in an effort to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure of personal information in our custody and control.

Logging and Auditing: Central logging systems capture and archive all internal systems access including any failed authentication attempts.

Storage Security

Backup Frequency: Backups occur daily to a centralized backup system for storage.

Your Responsibilities

Keeping your data secure also depends on you ensuring that you maintain the security of your account by using sufficiently complicated passwords and storing them safely. You should also ensure that you have sufficient security on your own systems, to keep any data you view on your own computer away from prying eyes.

We reserve the right to revise, amend, or modify our Security Policy at any time and in any manner. However, if the changes are significant in our judgment, we will provide you with advance notice prior to the change becoming effective and an opportunity to opt-out of such differing uses.
